September 2016, China’s ministry of industry issued a guideline for the development of intelligent hardware industry. Chinese government tends to encourage the innovation and accelerate the progress of the utilization of intelligent hardware particularly in traditional industries. This guideline emphasized five types of intelligent hardware products which will be the main focus; they are intelligent wearable device, intelligent automotive equipment, intelligent healthy care equipment, intelligent service robot and industrial smart hardware device. In addition, the guideline also proposing to improve cooperation with overseas companies regarding to advanced technology lacking by Chinese manufacturing industry. As the support from the Chinese government in intelligent hardware industry, it also mentioned the help for these intelligent hardware enterprises to raise capital, like the establishment of investment funds.
